MONDAY:
Period 1, 5: Finish TS #4 corrections; Text Structure #6
Period 2- PSSA 8: None. In class - reviewed author's point of view.
Period 3, 4, 6, 8: Read Hoot Ch. 1-2 for Wednesday; Identify 3 examples of irony and include the quote from the text, page number, type of irony, and reasoning.

TUESDAY:
Period 1, 5: Text structure #8 - Quiz Friday!
Period 2 - PSSA 7: None. In class - test corrections.
Period 3, 4, 6, 8: Continue work on Hoot Ch. 1-2. Be prepared for reading quiz!

Due to Tuesday's early dismissal, homework will be accepted during class time on Wednesday. All Reading classes will be given a study hall period to complete assignments.

WEDNESDAY:
No school.

THURSDAY:
Period 1, 5: Finish text structure #8 - Quiz moved to Wednesday!
Period 2 - PSSA 8: Evaluating arguments #16-20.
Period 3, 4, 6, 8: Finish Ch. 1-2 for tomorrow. Be prepared for reading quiz!
   
FRIDAY:
Period 1, 5: Word Connotation & Denotation activity B
Period 2- PSSA 7: Central idea packet.
Period 3, 4, 6, 8:  ASSIGNMENT FOR MONDAY: Read Ch. 3-5. List one example of irony. Find two examples of conflict and summarize them, identify their type (internal/external and sub-type) and protagonist and antagonist.   
Period 4 ONLY: Test corrections due TUESDAY. 

Periods 3, 6, and 8 will be receiving test corrections to complete on MONDAY.
