Period 1, 3, 4: In class - Literature circles for Ch. 15. Read Ch. 16-19 by THURSDAY.
Period 2, 7: In class - finish "Flowers for Algernon." Prepare for class discussion tomorrow.
Period 5: Finish pg. 4 of purple packet for "Why the Waves Have Whitecaps."

TUESDAY: End of 3rd marking period!
Period 1, 3, 4: Continue preparing Ch. 16-19 for Thursday.
Period 2, 7: Wrap-up pink and yellow "Flowers for Algernon" pages.
Period 5: "Chicoria" column on pg. 7

WEDNESDAY:
Period 1, 3, 4: Finish reading Ch. 16-19 for tomorrow. Quiz on Ch. 14-19 tomorrow!
Period 2, 7: Blue theme worksheet - turn the motifs into themes and provide support for each theme from the text (including page numbers).
Period 5: Pg. 6 for "Brer Possum's Dilemma"

THURSDAY:
Period 1, 3, 4: Ch. 16-19, study guides, vocabulary due. Begin reading Ch. 20-end for next WEDNESDAY.
Period 2, 7: Literary elements assessment for "Flowers for Algernon"
Period 5: Continue working on "Skook Stories." Come to school on Monday with a story in mind!
