READING 7:
This week, we continue to develop our study of Wonder. We will cover the literary topics of irony, exposition, and minor characters, as well as develop our understanding of the concepts of stereotypes and the precepts in the text. Be sure you are keeping up with the reading and comprehension questions. Feel free to work ahead, but please don't ruin the book!
MONDAY: Read Pg. 3-23, complete questions #1-14 (started in class on Friday).
TUESDAY: Read Pg. 24-44, complete questions #15-24.
WEDNESDAY: No reading.
THURSDAY: Read Pg. 45-65, complete questions #25-31.
FRIDAY: Read Pg. 66-80, complete questions #32-37.
ENGLISH 9:
We continue our study of Animal Farm this week. In addition to the novel, we will cover the topic of propaganda techniques and read accompanying non-fiction text.
MONDAY: Read Ch. 4 (p. 37-44) for Wednesday.
TUESDAY: Finish reading Ch. 4.
WEDNESDAY: Finish reading Ch. 5 (p. 45-58) for Friday.
THURSDAY: Finish reading Ch. 5.
FRIDAY: No reading; prepare for Tuesday quiz on Ch. 1-5.
